Ruth Berdah-Canet is an award-winning French-american filmmaker based in Tel Aviv. She worked in New York for 18 years before making Alyah with her family in 2019. Her works are poetic reflections of the human condition. Ruth approaches her subjects with empathy and compassion, capturing the essence of their struggles with grace and dignity. Each of her films is infused with meaning, as she delicately navigates the complexities of her subjects' lives. She has been creating video content for the Hostages and missing families Forum for the past 7 months.
