תמר הורביץ ליבנה נולדה בקיבוץ עין החורש וכיום חברת קהילה בקיבוץ כברי. מנהלת גלריה שיתופית כברי החל משנת 2021. הורביץ ליבנה היא אוצרת, אמנית וחוקרת אמנות. נוסף על כך, היא דוקטורנטית בבית הספר למדעי היהדות והארכאולוגיה באוניברסיטת תל אביב. תחומי ההתמחות שלה הם תרבות חזותית, אמנות ישראלית, מלאכות מסורתיות, מדעי היהדות, פיסול וחינוך מוזיאלי. יצירתה החזותית נעה בין מיצב, פיסול וציור.
Tamar Hurvitz Livne was born on Kibbutz Hahoresh and currently is a member of the community on Kibbutz Kabri. She has been the director of the Kabri Gallery since 2021. She is a curator, artist and art researcher. She is also a doctoral student at the School for Jewish Science and Archaeology at Tel Aviv University. Her areas of specialization are visual culture, Israeli art, traditional handicrafts, the Jewish sciences, sculpture, and music education.
Her visual work combines installation, painting, and sculpture.
